Established in 1999, CREDAI is the apex body representing 20,000 private Real Estate Developers across 21 state level Chapters and 220 Cities in India.
CREDAI is a not-for- profit company registered under Section 25 of Companies Act,
1956.
CREDAI seeks to create a favorable policy climate to ensure housing for all. CREDAI
specially articulates the concerns of private housing providers.
CREDAI has become the preferred platform with regard to national discourse on
Housing and Habitat through strong networking with Government, Policy Markers,
Investors, Financial Institutions and Real Estate Developers.
CREDAI is the prime knowledge sharing forum for latest industry data, technological
advancement and industry benchmarks.
CREDAI initiatives have been fruitful in liberalization of FDI and investment regimes,
streamlining of approvals and creation of financial instruments culminating in the goal of
housing for all by 2022.
CREDAI has adopted a Voluntary Code of Conduct, In order to inspire confidence in the industry, thus ensuring highest ethical standards among its members, to predominantly safeguard consumer interest.
CREDAI insists on setting up of Consumer Redressal Forums through all its City Level Associations.
CREDAI is the preferred CSR arm of its members with Skill Development, Education
Scholarships and Swachh Bharat as thematic areas.
To facilitate synthesis of CSR and Sustainable initiatives of Members across the
country, CREDAI has set up CSR FOUNDATION in May 18, 2015. This foundation is
supported entirely through voluntary contributions of CREDAI’s registered members.
CREDAI Kerala has affiliated Chapters at Thiruvananthapuram, Kochi, Thrissur, Palakkad and Kozhikode with about 170 Developers as members across the state.
CREDAI Kerala, under the guidance and support of CREDAI National has formulated guidelines and policies, and an ethical “Code of Conduct” for its members. CREDAI Kerala imbibes the national standards and values of CREDAI and works towards a more forward looking and progressive Real Estate Industry in the state bringing in growth and betterment to both the members and their customers.
CREDAI has launched MISSION TRANSPARENCY with intent to inculcate “Transparent practices in business” by its members. CREDAI Kerala has also initiated “Consumer Grievance Redressal forum” in all the Chapters to address customer complaints.
CREDAI Kerala is also actively involved in CSR activities through its NGO “CREDAI Clean City Movement” in solving solid waste management issues in high rise apartments and is listed as the successful decentralized operational system by the Ministry of Housing & Urban Development Govt. of India. CCCM is the approved service provider to Suchitwa Mission, Govt. of Kerala. CREDAI has won several awards and accolades from the Govt. of Kerala and other social organizations for the commendable work put in this field.
